This was by far my favorite project done in class. Retouching gives the editor freedom to be creative in a way to figure out how to make the picture look "picture perfect". I started this project by cropping the photo and changing the angle of it. Then I did a levels correction to make the photo brighter and lively. I used the spot healing brush to get rid of any creases or scratches from the original, along with getting rid of any unnecessary marks on the photo. I used the patch tool to get rid of a tape mark on the top of the original photo. I lined up the symmetrical diamonds in the background perfectly to match up where the tape mark was so that it looked as if it was never there. I used the spot healing brush to also make the Easter Egg Tree look more full by filling the empty spaces in the tree.
